Giovanna Mezzasalma, italian stylist and fashion icon

She's just incredible, her style is so feminish and cool.
There nothing to say about her, she's just amazing.

This is my favourite outfit, love the colors and the texture of sandals (Bottega Veneta) and  belt.
The miu miu bag is simply perfect.

The Marchesa Casati, a living work of art!

She was a noble italian woman, she lived between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th.
She was a dash of eccentricity!
She lived as a living work of art, surrounded by luxury, excess and passion.
She closed Piazza San Marco in venice for a private party(a masquerade ball), she used to walk in Venice totally naked, but dressed with a drop of parfume.
She was a lover, a dark femme fatale and a muse.
She was the muse of Boldini (an italian painter), of the futurists Balla and Marinetti and she had a tormented love story with Gabriele d'Annunzio.
She ended her life in London, totally pennyless!

I said she was a muse, but I missed to say she's still a muse. She's one of the main influences in today's fashion.

John Galliano for Dior Couture 1998

The first parfume of Galliano as a fashion designer, this aggressive and gothic bottle is inspired by the portrait of the marchesa Casati made by Boldini.

Giorgio Armani for the collection F/W 04/06 named "A Dash of Eccentricity" choosed Luisa Casati, the "Belle Epoque"and a movie by Luchino Visconti as the main inspirations.

Tom Ford for Yves Saint Laurent, S/S 2004

Hope you enjoy it!
